We're Heather and Cheryl, and we're so happy you're here.

That's exactly why we created this monthly snail mail subscription.

Our story began with an unexpected turning point.

On May 1st, I (Heather) was laid off from my corporate job after spending years building a career that, while rewarding, never quite fulfilled the dream that had quietly lived in my heart since childhood. I've always loved creating art, telling stories, and making things that bring joy to others. I've often imagined building something meaningful—something that would encourage people to slow down and reconnect with the simple moments that matter most.

Cheryl spent more than twenty years as a primary school teacher, pouring her heart into helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. She has always found joy in encouraging others, celebrating life's little victories, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed and cared for.

Together, we've also spent many years caring for our parents. Those seasons taught us something we carry with us every day: life isn't measured by how busy we are. It's found in shared meals, handwritten notes, quiet conversations, family traditions, warm kitchens, and moments that often seem small—but become the memories we treasure most.

Not long after receiving the news of the layoff, I sat down with Cheryl and asked a simple question:

"What if we started a snail mail club?"

A place where people could step away from the constant notifications, endless scrolling, and busy schedules.

A place where they could slow down.

A place where a trip to the mailbox felt exciting again.

And just like that, The Bee's Knees Post Club was born.
